Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Shobachi Grill wants everyone to be able to enjoy hibachi with a touch of soul — including online. We are working to make our website, online ordering, and catering inquiry forms usable by people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities, and we use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our technical goal.
What we've done
- Keyboard access across menus, item customization, cart, checkout, and catering forms, with visible focus indicators and a "skip to main content" link.
- Semantic page structure with headings, landmarks, labeled form fields, and status announcements for dynamic updates like delivery quotes and pickup times.
- Color choices reviewed for readable contrast while keeping the Shobachi brand look.
- Reduced-motion support for visitors who prefer less animation.
Known limitations
The secure card-entry form at checkout is provided by Square, our payment processor, and its accessibility is controlled by Square. We test the surrounding checkout experience, but we cannot modify Square's hosted payment components. Some menu photographs come from our Square catalog and may not yet have detailed descriptions.
Need help ordering?
If you run into any barrier on this website — or you'd simply rather order with a person — we're glad to help. We can take your order or catering request directly:
Feedback
Accessibility is ongoing work. If something on this site isn't working for you, please tell us what happened and which page you were on — we'll do our best to fix it and to get you your food another way in the meantime.
